If you are going to bet on Sports you should take a look at the lineup and determine your winners before Sunday's games. Here are some matchups to get you bets put down. I also provided a link to betting against the Spread and a link to Espn's NFL power rankings.

The first big matchup of NFL week 8 play has the Houston Texans Arian Foster against Indianapolis Colts Gary Brackett. Brackett linebacker for the Colts defense is coming back from injury, but returning to full health. He looks to stop Texans running back Foster who rushed for 231 yards in their last meeting. Keep in mind that Houston has never beaten Indianapolis in their franchise history. Look for Peyton Manning to exploit rookie corner Kareem Jackson, on the other hand this game depends on Jackson's ability to shut down Manning in the secondary. Its going to be an exciting Monday Night.

The New York Jets are favored by 6 points against the Green Bay Packers on Sunday. This matchup features Aaron Rodgers against Antonio Cromartie. The height of Cromartie makes him difficult to be thrown over. Green Bay has not won a game against the Jets on the road in their NFL history. Something tells me that Aaron Rodgers has not been playing up to par, or at least not as well as he could. He has given up more interceptions this season already, than all of last season, it could have a little to do with injured tight end Jermichael Finley and running back Ryan Grant. Also look for a battle between linebackers desmond Bishop and AJ Hawk of Green Bay to take on LaDainian Tomlinson.

Our Last big matchup puts the number one ranked Pittsburgh Steelers with a rejuvenated Ben Roethlisburger against a struggling New Orleans Saints. NFL's website says that the key to New Orleans winning will be Gregg Williams the defensive Coordinators play calls. Can the defense put enough pressure on Roethlisburger for him to make inaccurate passes and mistakes? Also watch to see how Dick LeBeau the Steelers defensive coordinator pressures Drew Brees who is coming off one of his worst performances.

Remember when placing your bets that you should gather as much info as possible, and don't bet with emotion, in other words don't always bet the most number of units on your favorite team!

Wayne Rooney Sinful Futbol God

When it comes to Football (soccer) none other than Wayne Rooney can be viewed as one of the best footballers of the game today. However his clean image of a great footballer was caught paying for sex, essentially cheating on his wife Colleen. His great reputation somewhat in disarray.
Its then no surprise that trouble on the pitch soon followed as Wayne Rooney submitted a transfer request to Manchester United. After much debate it is believed that Sir Alex Ferguson had much to do with his staying with the club. All the commotion saw non other than Rooney coming away with a 5 Year contract worth 200,000 to 280,000 pounds a week. Is he better than the team? How will this effect the play of the dominant Manchester United squad that hasn't been so dominant this season? Are you going to change your betting system based on this disruption?
Actually, were going to give you 5 reasons why Manchester United was able to keep Rooney:
1. Arsene Wenger made a great point when he said that he's seen it before, and knows that ultimately the clubs decide what to do with their property.
2. Manchester United seemed to have won the press battle, an uphill battle that saw an already unpopular Rooney losing a popularity battle due to the before mentioned scandal.
3. He just wanted more money and he got it. Manchester United thinks he is worth every penny, and despite all allegations you had better bet he is.
4. Letting Rooney go for the remaining 18months of his contract would be like giving away 10million euros. Financial suicide for any club.
5. It is also reported that a huge NIKE advertisement was vandalized with threatening statements made towards Rooney and his leaving of the club. Thugs, hooligans may have had a part in Rooney staying.

This doesn't change anything for the Manchester United squad, they are winning with serious players and a deep bench. Don't change your betting system just yet.

The NBA Begins With Change

The NBA Opens its 2010 -2011 Season
The Opening of the NBA season began with a lot of change. First of all the NBA draft announced that it would move locations from New York City to Newark, David Stern NBA Commissioner has yet to make that announcement. The Los Angeles Lakers received their 2009-2010 Championship rings before taking on the Houston Rockets, in their home opener. This game saw Yao Ming making his seven foot plus re-entry into the league. This game shortly after the Celtics beat the Miami Heat. O ya and by the way the Lakers come from behind to win that home opener.
First things first are you going to bet on the Miami Heat and Lebron James’ winning this season? If you are their first game wasn’t so hot. They had a serious lack of ball movement. The Heat have a lot of work to do, the big three of the Celtics Ray Allen, Raja Rondo, and Paul Pierce, mixed with production and excitement from Shaquille O’neal, were too much for the hopeful Miami Club. It looked like a classic case of too much talent on one squad for the Miami squad. I would keep my bets aimed at LeBron, although he didn’t connect against one of the best teams in the league once Bosh, James and Wade click and Pat Riley finds the best 5 players to match up this team will be good.
The Lakers are going to win the NBA and threepeat. Why? Because Kobe Bryant last years finals MVP was not the main producer for this club. Big three point plays down the stretch by Steve Blake, and huge post production by Pau Gasol gave the Lakers the edge they needed. If this team can continue to play well while Kobe is not 100% there is no doubt that they will continue to dominate.
Going into the game the Lakers were favored by 7points. They did not cover that 7 point spread, in fact this match came down to the wire.  The Heat were a 2 point favorite to beat the Celtics. Bet on the Lakers, Heat, and Celtics to win throughout the season.

2010 Power Rankings: Week 7

RK (LW) TEAM REC COMMENT

1 (1) Steelers 4-1 If a rusty Ben Roethlisberger is good for three TDs, wait until the QB gets in midseason form. (Walker)

2 (3) Jets 5-1 Rex Ryan enters the bye week with what he bragged about -- the league's best record. (Clayton)

3 (6) Patriots 4-1 Deion Branch looks as though he never left Tom Brady. It's a dangerous combo. (Clayton)

4 (2) Ravens 4-2 Road losses to New England and Cincinnati prove this team still has room to grow. (Walker)

5 (5) Colts 4-2 WR Pierre Garcon's one-handed catch vs. Washington barely outpoints DB Aaron Francisco's one-handed pick. (Kuharsky)

6 (9) Saints 4-2 Not sure how the Saints are the highest-ranked NFC team with home loss to Falcons on record. (Sando)

7 (4) Falcons 4-2 Even good teams lose road games, so let's not overreact following rough game at Philly. (Sando)

8 (12) Titans 4-2 Titans' workmanlike effort nets a victory in Jacksonville in first division game. (Kuharsky)

9 (13) Texans 4-2 Loss of Pro Bowl linebacker DeMeco Ryans is an absolute killer. (Kuharsky)

16 (17) Dolphins 3-2 Chad Henne calmed criticism with a strong game against the Packers in Green Bay. (Clayton)

17 (20) Vikings 2-3 A win Sunday at Green Bay would suddenly put the Vikings back in the NFC North race. (Walker)

18 (24) Cardinals 3-2 Cardinals surprisingly lost ground in the NFC West race during their bye week. (Sando)

19 (16) Buccaneers 3-2 Tampa Bay has improved, but Bucs have been blown out by both winning teams they've played. (Sando)

20 (22) Bengals 2-3 Will the bye week cure all of Cincinnati's issues? (Walker)

21 (26) Rams 3-3 How, again, did this team lose by 38 to the Lions? Great bounce-back victory over San Diego. (Sando)

22 (23) Broncos 2-4 The Broncos' early schedule has been brutal; softens now. (Kuharsky)

23 (27) Seahawks 3-2 In Chicago, the Seahawks looked like a new team with Marshawn Lynch, Russell Okung up to speed. (Sando)

24 (21) Chargers 2-4 The Chargers rank well in a lot of departments -- except wins. (Kuharsky)

25 (18) Jaguars 3-3 How does QB David Garrard respond to a Week 6 concussion as Jags head to KC? (Kuharsky)

27 (30) 49ers 1-5 Baby steps, baby steps. Beat the Raiders one week, visit the winless Panthers the next. (Sando)

28 (25) Raiders 2-4 The Raiders failed to capitalize on early chances and gave the 49ers life. (Kuharsky)

29 (28) Lions 1-5 Until the Lions learn how to run and stop the run, the losing will continue. (Walker)

30 (29) Browns 1-5 Rookie QB Colt McCoy at least gives the Browns something to build on this season. (Walker)

31 (31) Panthers 0-5 After this week, all remaining Panthers home games are against teams with current winning records. (Sando)

32 (32) Bills 0-5 The Bills had their best Sunday of the season, a bye week. (Clayton)

Sports Betting So Easy a Cave Man Could Do It

Online sports’ betting over the years has gotten to a point where it is really just that easy. Using proven statistical systems, brainiacs have found the patterns that major league athletes fall in. By statistically crunching outcomes of games, coupled with past history, and too many algorithms/inputs to count, there is finally a system that is worth checking out. The beauty of it is that you don’t have to do anything but put in the results!

With all the online sports betting promotions, sports betting websites, betting tips, and sports betting systems on the market, the average consumer can make money off of this online betting phenomena without understanding anything about sports, gambling, nor statistics. Once a week, an email comes to your account, you open it get the picks that have been computed, take them to the bookie and begin betting. Its really that easy.

The Premier League in England, coupled with the NFL in USA, and the NBA in USA, I watch sports every weekend, betting only a few games here and there placing my bets strictly on the emails sent me, and I win.
