Betting on Football requires you know where the best matchups are, so here we go analyzing the top 5 teams. Now that we are into week 6 teams are starting to develop making it easier for you to see what teams essentially have to offer. Number One: Pittsburgh Steelers are ranked number one this week above the Baltimore Ravens who came in at number 2. This week the Steelers look forward to returning qb and team leader Ben Roethlisburger. If they can continue to dominant in run defense, allowing teams to only 62.3 yards per game the league best. With Ben's return their passing yardage could improve as they are only producing 136 yards per game 32nd in the league. This Week the Steelers play Cleveland who is currently ranked 29th in the league.
NFL Power rankings has the Baltimore Ravens in second up from 6th last week. This weeks matchup against New England is a game of the week I wouldn't miss. The Baltimore offense is average, it is however their passing defense holding teams to only 156.6 yards per game 2nd in the league. This week's game sees Tom Brady Battling to gain yard in the air against this Raven Defense. The 3rd ranked team the New York Jets face off against the Denver Broncos where Jets league leading rushing offense looks to exploit Denver's 25th ranked run D. The Bronco Offense at 2nd overall in passing yards hopes to set the Jets 23rd ranked Pass Defense packing.
The 4th ranked Atlanta Falcons appear to be the best team in the NFC South. They may have more to give as their 2nd overall rushing offense takes on the 14th ranked Philidelphia Eagles 24th ranked rushing defense.
Rounding off the top 5 teams, the Indianapolis Colts overall 4th ranked passing offense looks to exploit 11th placed Washington Redskin rushing defense which is ranked 19th overall.
Bets Against the Spread Include:
Atlanta could best Philidelphia as their rush offense has been impressive.
