Philidelphia Philies starting pitcher Roy Halladay threw a no hitter to defeat the Cincinnati Reds 4-0. They are now calling Halladay the Doc after gun slinger Doc Holiday, and he definitely flexed his guns! This no hitter is only the second no hitter in playoff history, Don Larson was the only other pitcher to throw a post season no-no. Halladay joins the elite ranks of only 5 other pitchers in the long history of baseball to throw 2 no-hitters in the same season! The Doc is really making a name for himself. The Phillies have been considered a “lock” to make it to the World Series, where they may potentially face the New York Yankees.
